I have been going to Mike's 71 cycle for almost 20 years and never had a bad experience. Their knowledge on Harley's are equal to any dealership. They also can get you any extra chrome or part you want. Plus they won't try sell you anything you don't want. If you have a metric bike or four wheeler they have a guy named a Robert who can fix anything. Mike is as knowledgeable on any make of motorcycle.
Took my nearly 14 year old Polaris ATV in for, what I thought, was a bad starter. Had already looked up the parts price and so was expecting at least a $250 part plus labor.
Mike's found that it was only a solenoid - MUCH less expensive! - and so that's what they fixed...starter was fine.
Have always taken my H-D sidecar rig in for inspections but this is obviously the place I need to go for all my work and pass on the stealerships north of here.
They could have easily replaced both for all I know about these things and charged me for both....but because they are honest and trustworthy, they did only the work needed.
Terrible customer service and charged me the labor for them putting my carbs together wrong multiple times. Definitely wouldn't recommend. Guy behind the counter is terrible with customers. I've heard this from multiple other people that have went there also. Robert, the mechanic, was decent to talk to, no personal issues with him. They shouldn't have charged me for his errors though.
They have won me over as a customer, that's for sure and I'll be happy to let everyone hear about how well, fair and honestly I was treated!
