The particular provider that my minor son had an appointment to see, Ms. Amanda Wilson, refused to take one minute (yes literally one minute) to even listen to a secondary health-related concern from my son. This secondary health concern is one for which he had an appointment with their practice just two days later. And while it may have taken an extra two minutes to perform a physical examination and to resolve the concern, because it was not the primary reason for that visit, Ms. Wilson declined to even listen to the concern -- despite the fact that staff had been informed of the concern prior to Ms. Wilson's arrival in the examination room.
I informed them that I am already being treated by a specialist and I need a doctor for different health reasons and she said it does not matter they do not accept anybody with chronic pain.
I called today because I am in desperate need of a primary care physician and they discriminated against me because I have chronic pain.
