This is also the same "Kim" that told me that she wouldn't lend me a gas can - and when I asked if she wanted to "earn my business" (with the idea that if she trusted me to take the can with me, that I was going to buy gas there - I have never seen a 15 dollar one gallon gas can.
"Kim" the girl behind the counter is going to cause a LOT of issues for this store.

I used to love going here because some money went to the local schools if I used a certain pump. In the last few months we have been charged for a $9 car wash that we did not request. It has happened 4 times since I started paying attention at the station. And yes, they are nice about giving a refund when you go inside the store but they should be correcting the problem after this many weeks and still it keeps happening. So WARNING....check your receipt before you leave the station to make sure you aren't getting charged for a car wash. This was not an accident on our part. After the first time we pay close attention to what we are doing on the pump and it NEVER even asked if we wanted to choose a car wash or not...it just charged us for one.
Best coffee in town, never long lines and only $1 for money orders. The people are always friendly to me. I do admit the parking lot is pretty screwy but there is a Burger king with a drive thru attached so what the heck do you ecpect?
I confirmed this later with one of the managers, that on a debit purchase it shouldn't prompt them.
She was trying to WRITE DOWN my credit card information to manually enter it into the computer. This is after I swiped (successfully) with a debit purchase, and was being prompted to enter my code.
She told me that I will have to give her my card, because "the computer didn't like it."
If I see that girl working, I will walk back out.
This is no longer a Meiners Market. Still a great convenience store. Management and staff are friendly.
I chose to walk 2 miles home and DOWN THE STREET to fill up my own gas can.
I asked her why, and she said that she needed it to put into the computer later, otherwise it wouldn't go through.
